He tends to like drums that are big enough to climb inside.

Sure glad I'm not his roadie! :o
lol, if a recording of that godzilla drum can't make your woofers puke, nothing can.
The transient of a drum, is as nothing, as the intense drone of a very low tuned didgeridoo, now that can kill woofers.
Oh Lemmy in heaven are those drums gorgeous. I would never hit them.
For some reason the lack of cast hoops + decent lugs makes me think this kid is probably kind of meh.

That is obviously the small tom! ;D

Yes to both. Don't judge me.
The drums in the original post are gorgeous. I agree, die-cast hoops would be better (at least more suitable to my playing), but it's a small nitpick.
That giganto-drum needs to be mine - like today. How do you get the job of "dude who hits the giganto-drum?" I look good in a turban. I can swing a mace. Where do I turn in my resume?
Hemi - what company is that? I'd like to get an idea of their pricing.

the head looks like it says something like "rt customs".
I've looked for both RT and RC to no avail. What's up, Hemi?

transport is a bitch..thats a big part of the reason i stopped playing the upright bass..
you need a sectional one with like 8 1/8cylinder parts for the shell and the head rolled up like a carpet that attaches and gets tightened/tuned on setup.
maybe get an old tank truck and have the ends cut out. now your drum can move itself lol

Saw an upright bass fitted into a Lincoln Sedan, when we played after a bluegrass night in Tennesse.
The Bluegrass Bass book talks about a band that had a bass made of tin, that they strapped to the top of their car, and emptied the water out of before each show, now that's hardcore ;D

that bass is sick..
You can buy them, but their made in a land down under.
