Title: Harmonic Percolator clone - Inductor Guitars MP-1
Post by: inductorguitars on November 16, 2011, 08:21:46 PM
<Shameless promo>
So I've been away for awhile. First was trying to get a digital product going but waaay to long. Then I got a habit of sniffing solder. I now have 1% Lead in my blood stream. (not really) Plus a Rickenbacker bass refin.

All that solder sniffing lead to my Mellifluous Pussy. A harmonic percolator clone with tweaks. Biggest difference is the MOSFET clipping stage for a more tubey sound. The Ge diodes are still there.

So anyways pre orders: email me at erik@inductorguitars.com

Questions? Rants? Death Threats?

OH and don't let the final $187 price scare you. I'll be offering a discount/coupon to all the members here for at least $20 off. TBD.

This is a very, rare pedal.  Albini talks about it in the FUZZ doc.  Good to see you figured it out, hope you sell a truckload!  That makes 3 killer pedal/guitar/amp makers on this board.  I tip my hat to you guys.

Seems that most schematics on the webs are wrong. Tho they sound pretty good. I'm in the final stages of tweaking this pedal so I offered it up for pre sales.

I hope I sell a metric fuck load!

What I've never understood about the percolator is why do people actually want it. It sounds unique but I've heard it actually sound good. I doubt it would be considered special if it had a DOD label and there were 2-million floating around pawn shops around America.

Gah. I didn't listen to the original clip after I posted it on sound cloud.

Here's a remix.
