My SG is wired with a 57+ in the bridge with the stock Gibson pots and I have noticed on the hi-input of my Marshall, it starts squealing and not so much on my P90 in the neck. This never happens on my Burny LP so what gives? Bad pickup or wiring?

pickups can become microphonic over time . . . i don't remember why though. something about the base-plate coming lose or something?
ask HEMI, he'd know.
Yep, Microphonic. Just pot it, and it'll be alright.

Well I don't know if it's worth it as I was planning at the end of the month to replace it with a p94t in the bridge.
EDIT: WTF am I smokin'?
eh, never hurts to have working extras around..

Unfortunately I've been fixing friends amps for free, for a long time. Walking the line between what I'm paid for and what I do for fun ;D
