Title: Stellan Skarsgård
Post by: Jor el on August 11, 2011, 03:31:56 PM

He's in a ton of American films - minor roles.
I checked oot a couple of his Norwegian starring roles.

"A Somewhat Gentle Man"
"Insomnia"

Good stuff.
Just realized he is Alexander Skarsgård's father (Eric of True Blood).

Insomnia was cool... they remade it with an American actor :(

He's in "Breaking the Waves" too... great movie. Put that on your must see list.

A Somewhat Gentle Man was a really good movie. I thought he played an excellent role in that film.

You mean Swedish right? He's from Sweden. There's also some movies with Swedish actor Peter Stormare that are totally worth it to check out. Oddly enough he always gets to play Russian characters :)
