        I like them... Bought a lot of their stuff over the years (and multiple copies).
   I'm just not in an Airplane mode right now.


                 


     I like all of their LPs; but I'd probably go with SURREALISTIC PILLOW as their best.

                              'Lather' is my fave from 'CROWN'.

was Greg Chaciquo(i cant spell his name for shit) playing guitar for airplane in like late 60's

you would not believe how good that dude got. hi s"acoustic planet"

solo effort, like light jazzy ambient sound<-recipe for total boredom usually heh
BUT damn can that guy play his guitar. i had no idea he was that good....

Didn't Chaquico join the original Starship line-up? Jorma Kaukonen was the guitarist for Airplane years.

 Yes, I believe Kantner usually played rhythm and Kaukonen usually played lead.

Chaquico came later.
