Think maybe it's a Fuzz Factory inside w/ a little circuit bending goofiness inside?  It really is gimmicky.

There's definitely a lot of marketing involved in stomp boxes (not always this awkwardly blatant though). Would you rather have a fuzz called "The Fizzer" or a fuzz called "NUCLEAR WAR"?

Prolly Nuclear War.

I'd like to dick around with it (but not buy it).

i wonder how the "igor" works, and if it could be modded into other pedals?

Maybe a piezo pressure sensor. It possibly could be mod'd into other pedals, but it would require some kind of buffer interface, most expression pedals are either passive resistance, or control voltage. Piezo is a variable capacitance, be easy to do a CV from it, but getting it to work like a passive resistance might be trickier.
