$70 for a 3ply tort musicman pickguard. Seriously??? What am I missing here?

Maybe shop around? But good tort is kinda hard to find, so if that one looks nice, maybe bite the bullet?

Prices & quality vary WILDLY. Definitely shop around.

i paid $36 for an authentic fender tort 4 ply jazz bass pick guard.. its killer. i dont think id pay 70.

I don't think Musicman has a tort pickguard "stock" so it's probably custom made.

(or do they?)
