Thank you for the answers, and my apologies for just seeing them now.

Ultimately, I'd be running both amps at once.

Put the reverb tank back into the Fender Showman (didn't think was working).

It works!

Finally fired up the pedal steel through it. Damn. Instant great tone.

Sweet! Showman should be a bitchin' steel amp.

My practice amp just stopped working—a Blackstar HT-5. Turned it on, heard a short, faint, fart of static & then nothing.

Pre and power tubes seem to be glowing, and there's apparently no fuse, so I guess that's not blown. Gonna try replacing the preamp tube first, and the power tube next if that doesn't work...

In Phoenix this weekend for Lost Lake. How is it this hot in October? My fragile Chicago body can't handle this.

I picked up an irving ca made 2x15 randall bass cab. it sounds pretty great. tight and punchy. tighter and punchier than I expected a 2x15 to be. might become my main live cab. its on wheels which is a big bonus.

You can ride it to the gig, no more taxis.

I'm trying to set up a show for my friend's band, the clubs I've contacted don't even reply, which makes me want to kill people.

Been a while since I posted but I'll m always lurking. Ran across a splawn 412 small blocks 25 at right around 400$. I'm planning on checking it out this weekend just wondering if any y'all played thru one? Doom thru a Laney 100 pro tube. I have a Marshall JCM 900 cab that sounds fine but I've been playing thru it for 20 years like to try something else. I suspect it will prob sound similar to the JCM.

So the current drummer of one of my main projects has come out as a flat earther.

*facepalm*

Not sure if we should keep him on so I can lead him back to reason, or fire him now so I don't kill him.

^ just tell him the  truth that its a world map type causing confusion due to it being rather awesome for military use.

Did the weekend with flat earth drummer. He didn't drive down with us (stayed for an extra beach day, I had a Sunday gig).

We got along fabulously and we even roomed with each other. He played heroically and the shows were great (seriously amazing chops on this cat).

The subject never once came up :)

The venue (patio gig in Brownsville TX) went live for most of a set:

Like seriously, watch that whole video if yall can.

The 6/4 breakdown part at 6:25 is worth it. Then he does a drum solo. A long one. Then we blow everyone's minds going into "Goodbye Blue Sky" by Floyd.

That was a killer set, Danny. You all sounded great. That drummer is really good, throughout the set, not just talking about the drum solo. (I'm not big on long drum solos so I did skip parts of it). "Goodbye Blue Sky" was awesome as well.

So things are actually going really well (so far) with the flat earther drummer.

Being that we like each other immensely as people, we can actually talk about shit instead of regressing to insults.

And even if we don't convert the other we can at least investigate what the other believes and if we don't agree we can just make each other laugh.

This is actually a good thing. Gives me the opportunity to see why these people believe what they do and I can ask really specific and tough questions without being called a "sheeple."
