Snowfall

Enjoyed it, but nothing groundbreaking.  The main character (the kid) was good & Emily Rios is in it.  Love her.  Will keep watching.

Unfortunately this doesn't sit well for me. I totally get it, but enough on 80's crack era slanging (Snowfall) and I've never watched an episode of the Wire. Just too much, IMO.

The storytelling on this is a little off - like sloppy maybe or amateurish?

I lowered my expectations and now I am willing to stick it out until they get it together. Doesn't it seem like it's gonna take a while to gel?
